We recently worked with Ron the Floor Guy to have our stairs refinished and new balusters installed and we could NOT be happier with the results. From start to finish Dennis the owner was in contact with us with every phase of the project. His crew of craftsmen were polite, professional and very knowledgeable, they went the “extra mile” for us. I found these guys working around the corner from my home and from the moment James walked in my house to give me an estimate I felt very comfortable. These guys do excellent work. Prices were fair, communication was excellent throughout the entire process and the guys were spectacular. We hired them to do our upstairs bedroom, hallway and stairs and finish up some moulding I had problems doing myself. The end result is better than we imagined. They even were able to fix our stairs and get rid of the squeaks with some screws in the right places which in and of itself was impressive. We are pretty fussy people and trying to find a good contractor and get a quality job seems harder to accomplish these days. These guys were awesome and we highly recommend them. January 2025. Tom V. Just had our floors redone by Ron the Floor Guy. Ripped up 3 layers of kitchen, put down new sun floor and hardwood, weaves into existing hard wood in dining/living room. Very reasonably priced, very professional and courteous. James was great to work with and answered all of our questions and addressed all of our concerns. We had a two part project: restore the floors in most of our 1940s home and then come back to refinish the kitchen and weave in new flooring for a kitchen expansion. Ron’s crew did an excellent job tearing out our old vinyl kitchen floor and installing new hardwood to weave seamlessly into the existing hardwood on the rest of the first floor. They then sanded down and sealed the hardwood floors on all three levels of our home, leaving us with a gorgeous natural red oak finish. Lastly, they installed engineered flooring in our basement. James, Wilder and the entire crew were professional, courteous and timely throughout the entire process. They answered our many questions and kept our home as clean as possible during the work. About a year ago we hired these guys to install wood flooring in a pretty decent sized extension we added. The job was not a simple one, requiring “weaving together” the new floors with our existing hardwood floors. We had even been told by our prime contractor that they job couldn’t be done – which is what put us on our own for the flooring piece of our project.  Dennis helped guide us through the process, was very flexible, and when the hiccups occurred, developed very satisfactory workarounds.
